Extra-Curricular Clubs
Our extracurricular offer this term offered students a number of new and wonderful activities to get involved in. Some activities are coming off the back of student voice suggestions, for example Boxing Club. Naturally this also coincides with Mrs Agnes passion for keeping fit and boxing- which meant that we were able to implement such a wonderful opportunity. The club has grown from week to week and its great to see students getting active through the medium of boxing.
Another club that has taken off this term is our Cheerleading club. We hope to continue to encourage students to get involved and offer cheer next year. The creative sports have been really popular. Dance continues to shine with a number of students getting involved at break and lunch times.
It is not just the physical clubs that have been a real highlight this term, we’ve seen videos posted on our social media channels with students involved in Music with renditions of some absolute hits. We have also seen History club grow, looking at family history and why that it important. We are also treated to our termly student newspaper, all created during the Journalism club.
As with all extracurricular clubs, we encourage all students to get involved in as many activities as possible. We would expect at least attendance to one club per week. The offer is fantastic and to fully engage in Park House’s culture- this is a must. As always, if there is a club that is not offered and you have a passion for something, please put your suggestion in the student voice post box, where we could look to action.
