Attendance is hugely important. Even an attendance of 95%, which sounds impressive, means that students miss ten days of school a year – or two full weeks. The graph below shows this. 

One of the absolute best ways to do well in your GCSEs is to maintain a good attendance – every year, in every school, there is a clear link between students with the best attendance and students with the best exam results.
