Fun Fridays is a key event that brings our students together and considering our return after the Winter Break, we listened to our Year 11’s and brought back Karaoke. At PHS, we encourage participation and give our students many opportunities to thrive in other areas to try and step outside of their comfort zone. It’s always good to see our year groups sing on stage with their peers and we always look forward to karaoke.

Encouraging students to keep warm during the Winter, we followed with Tell A Joke which is very popular. For Fun Thursday before Inset day, we had a Rhyming Words rally where students had to guess the answers of short questions, which rhyme with a particular word.

And this Friday we show appreciation for Chinese New Year and play a famous family and friends game; The Chopstix Game, suggested by Maths Teacher Dr Yuan.

We’re always looking for ideas suggested by our students and we are looking forward to seeing more Year 7s become confident at public speaking.
