Park House School

DofE Bronze Training weekend

Our large cohort of Year 9 students spent last weekend practicing for their Bronze Award Assessment in July. They were enthusiastically involved in First Aid training, camping skills, orienteering, map reading and cooking skills on their first day. The following day they embarked on a 5 hour hike from Kingsclere to Park House School which resulted in some triumphant faces and all set to take on their Assessment hike. We are very proud of our students who were paid compliments from Ridgeline Adventures instructors and members of the public commenting on how polite and respectful they were during their hike. Well done Year 9 and we look forward to seeing you put the skills to real practice in July.
