Extra-Curricular Clubs
At the start of the year we launched our very first extracurricular fayre, to highlight and promote the wonderful opportunities that Park House provides to our students outside of the curriculum. With over 70 clubs/activities throughout a fortnightly cycle, we are offering students a variety of options. The extracurricular timetable can be found here.
It was great to see our fayre so well attended by not only our Year 7 students but from all year groups. Gaining information and signing up to clubs in preparation for the launch week.
Whilst we know that students and families live very busy lives outside of school, we encourage all students to attend at least two clubs a week. Last year, many students attended more than 10 clubs in a fortnight, this is our ultimate goal. We have extended our provision to include clubs running for our PH6 students and Year 11 students after their P6 lessons. We continued to advocate for these opportunities as we know how important they are for students at all age groups.
The start of the term has been extremely busy for our students as they immersed themselves into our extracurricular provision. There have been so many highlights already including our popular Homework Club (which takes place every day), our textiles club, D&D club, and the various sporting opportunities provided to ALL students.
We would like to remind our students that if there are activities/interests that are not covered as part of our term one offer, please voice your interest by popping a suggestion into our student voice post box. This way, we can further enhance our offer and cater for our students as much as possible.
