Careers Update
Thank you for last year’s Work Experience Week
Very well done to our students who had an amazing time during Work Experience Week. There were over 240 students out on placement in a huge variety of roles across businesses in the local community and far and wide.
Without your support this would not have been so successful so I want to thank all parents and local businesses who helped find placements. Also, a big thank you to our site team, kitchen staff and teachers who allocated roles in school for students to experience the world of work. I had the pleasure of visiting some of our students out on their placements and I was so impressed with their employability skills and attitude to work.
It was lovely to receive positive messages of how they got on and I hope many of them have fond memories of the experience and feel it was worthwhile and built connections for future roles.
Work Experience Week 2025 - 7th – 11th July 2025
This will be for all of Year 10 and Year 12 students. Please use this time to source the most exciting roles you can find. Please email me to let me know how you get on mtebble@parkhouseschool.org. Nearer the time I will request that all placement details are added on to our Unifrog system. I will follow up with instructions, so watch this space for more details.
