Year 7 Bushcraft Trip

We were proud to facilitate our annual Year 7 camp in October. This was a great opportunity for our students to step out of their comfort zone and immerse themselves with new peers and more importantly new experiences. The camp is fundamental in forging relationships and ensuring that students really settle into their new Park House journey. It was evident from the reports of students and staff alike that the trip was a massive success. The activities undertaken challenged our students to work together, communicate, build resilience and display many more character traits that are essential in becoming a well rounded student.

Miss Agnes spoke very highly of the trip:

"The programme for students at the Bushcraft trip was really well planned and it enabled us (Tutors and support staff) to see their characteristics shine. As well as building strong bonds with their peers, it's evident the trip has made them feel more comfortable and safer around us. I'm very proud of our Year 7s and potentially a very strong group as they grow through the years at PHS."
