Year 9 subject choices
Welcome to the information hub for the Year 9 Choices process for the class of 2029.
You have now arrived at the point in your school career when you are able to start making choices about the subject you wish to study. This is an extremely important decision and one that should be taken after careful thought and consideration. Not only does this decision decide which subjects you will study at Park House for the next two years, but it also has implications for your Post-16 study choices. Once you have completed your GCSEs you will go on to study in the Sixth Form, college or through an apprenticeship scheme. Having the right subjects to get on these Post-16 courses is incredibly important, so we are here to help you all through it and make sure that your ‘Choices’ are the right ones.

Here are the key dates to be aware of:
- Choices Evening Thursday 20th March 17:30pm – 19:30pm
- Friday 21st March – Applicca opens for making subject choices
- Monday 31st March – Applicca closes for making subject choices
- Monday 9th June – Allocation of student choices
